Every month Native Gardener is offering a free gardening service to a deserving person in our community.
Get on board with pest free hibiscus coast
It will take a community effort to reach our goal of becoming pest free. Sign up for a free backyard rat trap, and join this important initiative, managed by Pest Free Hibiscus Coast.
Free NATIVE plants for schools
Boost your school's environment programme with a box of native plants. Limited numbers available to schools on the Hibiscus Coast.

Nominate a community member
Do you know someone who deserves a helping hand in the garden?
Every month, Native Gardener is offering 3 hours of free gardening to someone on the Hibiscus Coast.
This service could include weeding, pruning, trimming, edging and general tidy-up work.
Nominating someone is quick and easy - just email Native Gardener with the following information:
- Your name and contact details
- Name and contact information for the person you are nominating
- Brief reason why you are nominating them
- Confirmation that the nominee lives on the Hibiscus Coast (failing to confirm this will mean they are not eligible).
Please also ensure that the person you are nominating would appreciate this gesture!
One person will be selected by the 15th of each month, and will be contacted directly, along with the person who put forward the nomination.
Note: There are no nominations in December.
